"A Tenant's Twitter Tangle"
A Chicago management company has sued a tenant for libel over aTwitter post complaining about a moldy apartment, according to court records and online reports.
On May 12, Exhibit A in the lawsuit shows, defendant Amanda Bonnen broadcast a message to a friend: "You should just come anyway. Who said sleeping in a moldy apartment was bad for you? Horizon realty thinks it's okay."

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned a district court’s ruling, paving the way for a Santeria priest in Euless to resume goat sacrifices as part of religious ceremonies.
City officials had attempted to ban the sacrifices, an action that Jose Merced, a Santeria priest and Puerto Rico native, challenged in federal court as a restriction on his constitutional right to free exercise of religion.

The jury forewoman in the trial of an Oregon couple acquitted of manslaughter in their daughter's pneumonia death says she felt the pairwere ''loving people'' who didn't mean to harm the 15-month-old girl.
The jury knew Carl Brent Worthington and his pregnant wife, Raylene, ''had no intentions of ever harming their child,'' Ashlee Santos told reporters on Thursday outside the Clackamas County Courthouse. ''If anything, the evidence showed the opposite.''

Sarah Palin says David Letterman owes an apology to young women across the country for his joke about her daughter.
